Reasonably priced friendly staff and representing Small Town Colorado Living whoot whoot! Oh Heck YES! Other Colorado Small Towns Including Mountain Towns Should Follow Suite for Sure! I Was Recently A RShort-term Resident of Gunnison but they are so Liberal and Sooo Bored Nothing To Do But Be All Up In Everyone's Business So Uncool I Hope They Grow
The experience was amazing. The food was excellent. We’re from Texas and the food is larger proportions than what we get in Texas for what we ordered we ended up ordering two breakfast sandwiches, a breakfast burrito, French toast and we was with Charles as well as a chicken fried steak breakfast absolutely amazing our waitresses name is Jamie and she did fantastic. We had a big group and she got everybody’s order out when it needed to be out as well as drinks and coffee. The atmosphere is very inviting as well
Good food, great people. Ordered pancakes on Easter morning and got a lovely, creative surprise!
Great rural place to get something to eat and the bar is huge. We cam for breakfast with the family. Giant portions, food was hot and delicious. Our Dawn was awesome!
Cute homey place filled with history. We had their Green Chile Chicken Pizza and it was beautiful and delicious! Right off the freeway, with big parking so if you're pulling an RV is a must stop.
Google says this is Mexican food, it has some Mexican options but it’s mostly American and pizza. The younger waitress was an absolute doll. The customers next to us didn’t seem to realize that when a joint is this busy they have to wait. Literally every table full and these people can’t stop loudly complaining. My girl and I had no problem. Slamming some Coronas, chatting it up while we wait. Great atmosphere. Y’all be kind to your servers or eat at home! Massive Calzone. Came back for breakfast
Strasburg, Colorado —- “Rookie’s Restaurant/Saloon” is a “Run-A-Way Bill” Favorite eatery & pARTy Beverage Saloon. A nice menu selection with fair prices. A “saloon” to hang out when it’s quittin’ time. The staff is friendly and the food portions plentiful. “Run-A-Way Bill” was here! (several times) 09.03.20
I had a great time at Rookies and Kevin (head honcho) was a gracious host. I did not rate the food because I didn't eat there. I came to chill with a friend and enjoy the karaoke. The people were friendly and welcoming and we both enjoyed ourselves. I do not usually give 5 stars as there is always room for growth and i.provement, but Rookies was worthy of 5 in my book.
